Week at a Glance

Testing

Spanish STAR Testing

All Dual Language Students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade will take the STAR Spanish Assessment this Tuesday, March 31st!

Please help your student have the best testing experience possible by ensuring they get plenty of sleep the night before testing and that they are present and on time on their testing days.

Florida B.E.S.T. Writing Assessment

Students in Grades 4 & 5 will take their first state assessment of the year, the B.E.S.T. Writing Assessment, this Wednesday, April 1st.

Please help your student have the best testing experience possible by ensuring they get plenty of sleep the night before testing and that they are present and on time on their testing day.

Students are permitted to wear their Test Day Shirts or a Thacker Spirit Shirt on their test day! #Team Max

Campus Events

No Early Dismissal Wednesday

Due to district-wide testing, this Wednesday, April 1st will be a non-early release Wednesday.

We will run a normal bell schedule and dismissal will be at 3:15 pm like a regular school day.

Jellybean Jog

This Friday, April 1st is the TAES Annual Jellybean Jog!

***Students with no referrals from 3-23 to 4/2 will be able to participate***

STEM & Report Card Night

Join us Wednesday, April 8th for STEM & Report Card Night!

Come learn about Math & Science Resources, take home Math & Science Kits, meet with your student's teacher(s) about 3rd Quarter Grades and PM3 Testing Preparation, and swing by the BOGO Bookfair!

Spring Picture Day

Get those smiles and Spring Outfits ready!

Spring Picture Day is Friday, April 10th!

4th Quarter Countdown

PM3 State Testing

PM3 State Testing begins in just 26 days!

Monday, March 30th we will begin our "Marathon to PM3"!

For the next 26 Miles (Days), our Wildcats will "run" through the final subject units

and begin reviewing and preparing for PM3 testing.

This "Marathon" will require endurance and determination from our Wildcats as they practice the skills/benchmarks needed to be successful on the PMS assessments.

Parents, please assist by ensuring your student(s) are present and on time each day

so they do not miss any of this critical content and review.

Daily Mile Markers will be posted soon with event details and student incentive opportunities!

Join us as we set our pace and sprint towards the finish line!
